Evening Time: After Asr until Maghrib

🌅 Essential Morning & Evening Adhkar

1. Ayat al-Kursi

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Quran 2:255 - Recite once

Reward: Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death.

2. The Last Two Verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (Evening)

Quran 2:285-286 - Recite in the evening

These will suffice you for everything. - Sunan Abu Dawud

4. Master of Seeking Forgiveness (Sayyid al-Istighfar)

"O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I am keeping my pledge and promise to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessing upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sins except You."

Sahih Bukhari - Recite once in morning and evening

Reward: Whoever says this with firm conviction in the evening and dies that night will enter Paradise. Same for the morning.

5. Protection from All Evil

"In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

Sunan Abu Dawud - Recite 3 times in morning and evening

Reward: It becomes a right upon Allah to make you pleased on the Day of Resurrection.

7. SubhanAllah wa Bihamdihi

"Glory be to Allah and praise Him."

Sahih Bukhari - Recite 100 times

Reward: Your sins will be forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea.

8. La ilaha illallah Wahdahu

"There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate. His is the dominion and to Him be all praise, and He has power over all things."

Sahih Bukhari - Recite 10 times in the morning

Reward: You will receive the reward of freeing four slaves, 100 good deeds are written for you, 100 bad deeds are erased, and protection from Shaytan for that day.

10. Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum

Consistency Over Perfection

Start with a few and be consistent. Gradually add more as they become habit. The Prophet ﷺ loved deeds that are consistent even if they are small.

May Allah protect us all and make us from those who remember Him morning and evening. Ameen!
